All 3-D plaque frames are made from 3/4 inch red oak with 2 coats of clear gloss polyurethane. The picture itself consists of 1/8 inch birch cutout, stacked, and glued in layers to give the picture it's 3-D effect. All of the detail lines are actual lines cut through the 1/8 inch birch with my scrollsaw.
