All 3-D plaque frames are made from 3/4 inch red oak with 2 coats of clear gloss polyuethane. The picture itself consists of layered cutouts of 1/8 inch birch, stacked,and glued to give the picture it's 3-D effect. All detail lines are actual cuts all the way through the 1/8 inch birch using my scrollsaw.
